Inter-house PlayACT Fantasia 2026
Watching our Senior School students bring The Three Act Tragedy, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, and And Then There Were None (all of them being some of the most famous mystery thrillers ever written, by none other than the Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie) to life was a powerful reminder of what the performing arts offer young people. Beyond the stage, they provide a space to develop voice, presence, and the confidence to tell meaningful stories. At NAFL PlayACT Fantasia 2026 – Agatha Christie with a Twist, the audience (which included the Senior School students, their parents, and the teachers) witnessed something truly special, while our students experienced growth that extended far beyond the performance itself. The element of the “twist” is an opportunity for our students to add their own unique flavours to the original stories, placing themselves in the shoes of the writer and making that one small change that would, as they say, rewrite history itself. Aside from being a celebration of theatre and arts in general, NAFL PlayACT Fantasia proved to be a spirited team activity, honing team –working skills and inculcating a sense of belongingness to the school’s three houses.
