Student Council Elections & Investiture Ceremony, 2026
At NAFL, we believe leadership is best developed through meaningful experience. Our Student Council Elections are therefore designed to be both democratic and thoughtfully structured, ensuring that students have the opportunity to demonstrate their vision, problem-solving abilities, and readiness to serve.
The selection process begins with a written round, followed by panel interviews that assess candidates’ ideas, communication skills, and ability to respond thoughtfully under pressure. Candidates who progress through these stages then take part in the election process, including campaigning and voting.
This year, we were delighted to see an overwhelming response, with almost the entire Grade 12 cohort applying for various Student Council positions. Following the written and panel rounds, the final list of candidates was announced, after which students from Grades 9 to 12 participated in a fair and carefully conducted election.
Through this process, our students experience leadership not simply as a concept, but as a responsibility that calls for commitment, integrity, and the confidence of their peers.
