A large number of parents are seeking admission to NAFL Basaveshwarnagar, NAFL North (Urbana Residential Complex next to the Airport), NPS Rajajinagar, NPS Indiranagar, NPS Koramangala and NPS HSR. As per policy, we have the following guidelines for admission. The Department of Education follows the same.

  • We prioritise sibling applications. However, the applicants must do well in the entrance test. If applications exceed the number of seats available, admissions will be based on merit.
  • Applications from alumni parents who wish to admit their children at NAFL will also be prioritised and screened the same way.
  • The next preference is for the nationally mobile group of parents, including central services and other transferable services of India.
  • We also extend support to an internationally mobile group of families who come from schools outside India. Families residing outside India and seeking admission to NAFL may email us at admin@nafl.in after completing the online registration process. We will set up a date for the online entrance test to mutual convenience.
  • Applications for admission to KG 2, Montessori 2 and Montessori 3 are not accepted as there is no vacancy. In other classes, admission will depend upon the vacancies likely to arise on account of withdrawal due to parent transfers.
Entrance Tests
  • Written tests will be conducted at NAFL in the subjects specified from Grade 1 upwards, as mentioned in the grid below. The date and time of the tests will be conveyed by email.
  • For Grades 9 IGCSE, 11 ISC and AS, subject choices made by the candidate will determine the number of test papers a student must take.
  • For subjects that may not have been part of the candidate’s previous school’s curriculum (Global Perspectives, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Commerce or Accounts), the question papers will test basic skills and awareness only.
