Parent Orientation - 2026
NAFL’s Parent Orientation 2026 brought together parents, Teachers, Associate Principals, and the Mentor Principal for a series of sessions across all grades, from Pre-KG to Grade 12.
Each session provided an overview of the year ahead, including curriculum expectations, classroom practices, and ways for parents and teachers to remain aligned throughout the academic year. Every session also included invaluable information on how to handle level specific issues – for example, the invisible thread of love and the bond between the parents and the child in the Early Years’ sessions, responding in the face of usage of unacceptable vocabulary by children in the Primary Years, and digital detox for the parents of Middle and Senior Years students. While the format was simple, the purpose was clear: a strong year begins when everyone is on the same page from day one.
