Labs At Play 2022-23
Our grades 9 and 11 students took multidisciplinary study to another level through their Labs At Play event on 30 March 2023. The inter-departmental experiential learning projects were developed by the Math, Science, Computer Science, Commerce, Accounts, Economics and Business Departments together with the students and turned out to be a truly exciting exercise.
Forensic Sciences – Catch the Smooth Criminal
Six top musicians in the fray for 'The Greatest Musician of All Time' Award. The most popular contender is abducted by a fellow musician. Who is the ‘Smooth Criminal’? Visitors to the crime scene and the forensic labs had a lot of detective work to tackle, before they narrowed down the suspect and rescued the victim!
NAFL Café Day
Planning for this exciting effort began almost a month in advance. Students conducted surveys to understand customer habits, preferences, and budgets, then put on their entrepreneurial hats and launched their restaurant ideas. They raised IPOs for their four restaurants – Shipwreck Cove, Scoreboard Café, Ice Spice and Bob’s. They brought their dream cafes to life inside classrooms, taking care of décor, food, and billing perfectly. Students and parents thoroughly enjoyed the food, drink, music and games! Truly a lot of lessons were learnt in PR, marketing, customer relations, market unpredictability, pricing and profit and loss!
