French Day was celebrated at NAFL through a series of fun-filled activities like Master Chef Junior competitions, Crash courses in French for non-French learners, Trendy French Hat competition and French Football Club matches. Performances in Music, Dance and Theatre that highlighted French culture were also other highlights for French Independence Day on Wednesday, 12 July, 2017.
As part of the celebrations, students came dressed in French colours (Red, White and Blue).An exclusive food truck ‘CASSE-CROUTE’ visited NAFL and senior students had a taste of French cuisine.
On Tuesday, 15th August, 2017, NAFL’s middle and senior school students gathered together to celebrate India’s 70th Independence Day. The morning began with Kaleidoscope 2017, an art competition, where children worked on peace symbols for a Flag of Peace. The best combined flag presentations and individual peace symbols won class and cash prizes. This was followed by a special assembly in the auditorium. The Principal addressed the students on freedom with responsibility and working together as a community. The students presented a short cultural programme that highlighted the spirit of patriotism. The morning’s ceremonies concluded with the hoisting of the national flag on the school grounds.
